This week was an interesting one. It really focused on why we wanted to be entrepreneurs, and also some of the realities of being entrepreneurs. If you are looking for the "get rich quick" business this isn't it. Yes some people start their own businesses and make big money fast, but most work at it day after day, year after year, until they have large success.
I realized this week that the biggest reason I want to be an entrepreneur is so I can help people not struggle. I want to have a company, and work with all my family members, or at least give them the opportunity to, so that they have a good strong company to work and grow at. I also want to be my own boss, I don't want to punch the clock for someone else's dreams. I want to grow my own dreams, take a long lunch if I want, and work from home if I need to. I also love staying home with my children, running my own business would allow me to work, support us, and still be able to attend school conferences, and plays. I would be able to "do it all" in a way.
